A thesis is the final compulsory part of the requirements for the completion of the UNIGIS MSc Programme. The thesis is a deliverable in which a student demonstrates her/his ability to independently address a spatial problem applying ‘state of the art’ GIScience methodology and presents the research outcomes in an understandable and scientific manner according to standards of academic writing.

 

A student submits a short write-up about the proposed topic according the the prescribed format and as per the time schedule communicated by the Course Coordinator. The propsal is examined by the study board and the outcomes are comunicated to teh student.

 

The thesis is completed under a guidance of a designated supervisor.
