Successful completion of a UNIGIS MSc course relies heavily on support from various sources, be it family, friends, employers, etc. OR your UNIGIS Institution.

UNIGIS@Noida offers the following forms of support:  

Ø       The Tutor is your universal point of contact, i.e. communicates and supports you throughout your study. S/he digs deeper to help solve technical or content issues, is your source of motivation, and ensures that your studies run continuously and successfully.

Ø       The Instructor is responsible for teaching/presenting/facilitating a UNIGIS module and its assessment/grading. S/he teaches and coaches you for the duration of the module and answers your questions related to the content of the module and respective exercises and assignments.

Ø       The UNIGIS office is in charge of administration and organisation of the course and can help you with enrollment, payment, progress stages of your course, etc.

Ø       The Study programme team constantly monitors your overall progress and complements your mentoring.

During the course, modules are taught through intensive lectures in the class rooms and rigorous practical are carried out in the GIS Laboratory. Besides, the communication is carried out by means of an email distribution list, discussion fora (newsgroups), and net meetings (chat / audio-video conferencing). Of course, you can also use the phone. These communication forms increase contact among the group members. From our experience learning in a group boosts personal motivation and learning success. The more you actively participate the more you benefit from it.
