UNIGIS@Zagazig offers internationally recognised academic qualifications in GIScience and Systems through Online Distance Learning. It offers 2 fulfledged study programmes;
(1) a two-year UNIGIS Master of Science degree, and
(2) a one-year UNIGIS Professional Diploma.
The UNIGIS MSc. programme is designed for managerial level skills by developing in-depth understanding of the conceptual, technical, and organisational aspects of GIScience whereas the UNIGIS Professional Diploma programme focus more on enhancing application-oriented skills.
UNIGIS study programmes are particularly beneficial for ‘on-job-professionals’ aiming at a career in GIScience as well as GI-professionals aspiring to enhance their qualifications.
